Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has chided the Mahama administration for praising itself over improvement in the energy sector of the economy.
President John Mahama, addressing the nation last Thursday in Parliament, recapped efforts made by his government to resolve the energy crises.
According to him, significant progress has been made in the energy sector following the introduction of the Karpower Barge and other energy intervention projects like the KTTP project.
But whiles conceding there have been improvements in the energy sector, the Senior Journalist told pointed out to Kwami Sefa Kayi, host of Peace FM‘s Kokrokoo that the scars of the problem remain.
He tagged the President’s speech on the energy sector as “myopic and insensitive“.
To Kweku Baako, the President should not overrate himself because the effects of the power crises linger on.
